The Tulsa Rugby Football Club, founded in 1974, is committed to the establishment, development, operation, promotion, and participation in educational and training programs as well as competitive events to provide knowledge, information, and comprehensive skills related to the sport of rugby to those individuals in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tulsa RFC is a competitive but social rugby club, fielding men's division II and women's division III teams, with a strong focus on fitness and commitment to the development of our community and the sport of rugby. We believe in hard work and dedication no matter what we are doing. Our teams and club membership are completely open to all players and fans that are interested in playing, learning, and supporting the game of rugby. Just come on by or contact us for more information.

The women of Tulsa Rugby train on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, and the men train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, at our home pitch located at 37th and Riverside Drive. There are no try-outs so please feel free to come down and see what Tulsa Rugby is all about.

Being honest the trip to Arkansas, following the performance at Wichita last week didn’t fill me with joy. That said training had been productive and the team although young and inexperienced was full of talented athletes.

The first game against NSU featuring many Tulsa faces old and new, saw us playing reasonable rugby in patches and making the usual careless mistakes. Not going through rucks, merely hanging over the ball, not getting the defensive line established and allowing players to run at us. A comprehensive win though, 50-21.

Match Report v Wichita Barbarians

We took a young squad to Wichita, wedding and work commitments making seven players unavailable. (Congratulations once again from all of us to Doyle and Megan).

Wichita are a strong well organised outfit, with competent individuals who have the experience and ability to read the game and make sound decisions as a consequence.
